Hi!

Here is my new Funke + Huster Fernsig F3B (Ebay)
I think it's brand new.

The strange thing about it, is the really slow start up... Is that usual in all S3 - type sirens?

Wow! Looks pretty good!
It's the first picture of that siren i've ever seen. May I use it for the Siren Wiki? Would be very nice!

Edit: Concerning he slow start-up: Do you use the siren with a capacitor?

Of course do use it in the SirenWiki, I'll be very happy to contribute something

Yes! I used a capacitor because I don't have 3phase current. I know the use of capacitors reduces the motor power in the 80% of the original one... but I thought the start up to be too slow.

I'll post the video soon.

Well, this one is in really good condition.
I wonder whether such a "roof" is still available as spare part... I need 2 ^^

Hi
why don't you contact the FHF company? I'm pretty sure there are available spare roofs, and they can help you. I think they are still manufacturing this type.

Hm ok! This start up is way too long! I think you need a startup-capacitor beside the capacitor that replaces the missing phase.

Very interesting! thanks a lot, Niklas! I'll buy that capacitor as soon as possible, I think the owner of the shop is going to help me with the connection as always.

Why you don't buy a Connector for Rotating Current?
The will cost ~3 € at 3x16A

... don't know much about electrology but don't you need 3phase current to use a connector? Or do you mean something else? Anyway the problem will be fixed soon.

He suggests to use "real" instead of "simulated" three phase current.

Unfortunatelly I have no access to 3phase current. That's why I haven't managed yet to connect my , which ofcourse can't be connected in 1phase...

I know that problem... But we just need to find somebody who would help us out with his three phase current.
